Career Solutions is a program that connects skilled immigrants with careers in:

• Tourism and Hospitality
• Transportation

Use this check list to see if you qualify for the Career Solutions program:

· Have you been in Canada less than 5 years?

· Do you have 3 or more years experience in your profession before you moved to Canada?

· Do you have good English skills?

The Career Solutions project is funded by the Ministry of Economic Development and managed by a consortium that includes Camosun College and the Inter-Cultural Association of Victoria.

Please note that some eligibility requirements do exist. Career Solutions is part of the BC Skills Connect program, offered through Camosun College and the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA). The BC Skills Connect for Immigrants Program is a provincial government initiative funded and managed by the Ministry of Economic Development. The primary goal of this program is to see new immigrants secure jobs that fully used their skills and talents.
