Interactive, thought-provoking and fun workshops for youth. Question and explore your assumptions about those who you consider to be different, reflect on discrimination in the here and now, learn about human rights and responsibilities for everyone, be creative in becoming more inclusive and being a champion for diversity.

Learn how to lead anti-racism and diversity games and workshops. Once trained, you will go in groups of four teens supported by a mentor into your school or community and provide workshops for other teens.
“I loved all the amazing things we learned about standing up for ourselves/others.”
“I loved how in depth our discussions were and also how well the skits related to reality and our everyday lives.”
“I loved how easy it was to open up with everyone else here. It was such a positive experience that I will surely always remember."
Thanks to funding from the Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada, the Sooke School District 62 and ICA will work together from September 2009 to March 2010 to provide the Safe Harbour Youth Ambassador program to Edward Milne Community School and Belmont Secondary School.
