We value respectful and inclusive educational services which build community and
address racism in our changing society.

Public Education and Workshop Programs
The Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) offers a variety of educational workshops and training seminars covering a range of topics related to multiculturalism, diversity awareness, immigration, racism and human rights in the workplace and community.

Why Diversity Training?

Canada is a multicultural and multiethnic society with an increasingly diverse population that has a tapestry of colours, customs, languages, accents, beliefs, values and talents. Organizations and businesses need to be able to better understand how to be more innovative in offering employment or providing services to a diverse population.

How effective is your organization or business in attracting, welcoming and retaining employees, volunteers and clients from diverse backgrounds?

Cultural competency, diversity awareness and human rights skills and knowledge are core requirements for your business or organization.

· How aware are we of our own social values and beliefs?
· How do these values and beliefs affect our opinions and behaviours towards others?
· How can we make our communities and workplaces more inclusive?
