Cook Street Village Activity Centre

A free Community Day Event will be held on Saturday, September 17 from 11am – 3pm at 1-380 Cook Street. Everyone is welcome. Community Day will kick off with Songhee’s First Nations cultural welcoming at 11:15 am, and ribbon cutting by Mayor Dean Fortin at 11:30am. Throughout the day, there will be various activity demonstrations and displays, prizes and draws, stage entertainment, children’s activities and face painting, and a $4.00 BBQ lunch available. From 5:30 - 7:30pm that evening, a three-course dinner with dance entertainment featuring Victoria Chinese Cultural Club will be hosted. Dinner tickets are only $12 member/ $15 Non-Members and can be purchased at the Cook Street Village Activity Centre by September 13.
