A proud moment for ICA on November 28 as our Arts and Outreach Coordinator, Paulina Grainger, was recognized by the BC government for her efforts to help bring diverse cultures together by embracing diversity and promoting multiculturalism. She received the award in the Individual category and received $5,000 for ICA youth arts programs.
Paulina believes “in the power of the arts to explore social issues, including, but not limited to, those relating to race, culture and identity as a way to promote understanding between diverse groups.” Read more about this award and Paulina’s work here. Well done Paulina!
