“The issues that the YAR group addresses are very relevant to most communities and the power of their stories lies in the fact that they come from the realities of the youth. By creating a DVD resource package, these youth will be able to share their learning with a potentially unlimited number of youth and adults around the island, province, and country.”

– Ardie Bazinet, PAC Chair, Sea View Elementary Jr Secondary School, Port Alice, BC.

“Despite hearing that we’re just a bunch of negative teenagers a few times, we’re really excited to speak our truths and share them with our community. We all know the good things about Canada and we want to keep working towards real equality by questioning the systems that are preventing it.”

– Lissa Senatus, Filmmaker and A-Channel/Save on Foods Amazing Kid Award Recipient.
