How do we communicate with the world if we don’t use words? What does our body language say about us? How do people interpret our non-verbal cues? From facial expressions to spatial distance, we are constantly communicating without saying a thing! These were some of the questions and ideas that inspired the short film “Friendship”. Using only one camera and one minute of footage the film explores how body language and non-verbal communication can affect the people around us. “Friendship” illustrates how the simple act of smiling and helping can turn a potentially explosive incident into an opportunity for friendship.
