This event is a community dialogue focused on the housing challenges faced by immigrants in the Greater Victoria region. This event brought together key community partners and solution-makers to share real stories, explore solutions, and collaborate on building a collective immigrant housing plan.

Employment Summit 2024

The Greater Victoria Local Immigration Partnership (GVLIP) hosted an Employment Summit on February 22, 2024, focusing on the benefits of hiring newcomers in the Capital Region. The event titled "From Diversity to Prosperity: Employing Newcomers in the Capital Region" provided attendees with information and tools to help them build a more equitable workplace.

Safe Houses Supportive Communities

The Greater Victoria Immigration Partnership (GVLIP) (a program of the Inter-Cultural Association) hosted a community dialogue to share information on the experiences of immigrant women seeking support as survivors of domestic violence in the Capital Region.

Racism in Greater Victoria: A Community Report Released

Through a strategic partnership with leaders in four primary community sectors, Governance, Healthcare, Education and Housing the GVLIP conducted its first community survey and consultation on racism.
