The CPSI program helps newcomer professionals to find meaningful career employment that aligns with their pre-arrival education, training and experience.
IEC-BC's Mentor Connect
Immigrant Employment Council of BC’s MentorConnect program matches job-ready skilled newcomers with established local professionals for one-on-one occupation-specific coaching. Matches are based on occupation, industry, professional experience, career interests and goals.
Migrant Workers Program
The Migrant Workers Program offers direct settlement and employment information and resources to migrant workers to understand their rights and help them integrate in the community.

Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS)
A school-based outreach program aimed at helping eligible newcomer students (immigrants and refugees) and their families settle and integrate into their school and community.
Immigrant Welcome Centre
From housing and education to employment services, ICA’s Settlement Services team can help newcomers navigate and connect with important resources and support.
English Language Services
ICA offers English courses tailored for newcomers to Canada. LINC program and BC Newcomer Services Program (BCNSP and SAF/HAVN)** provide free English training for eligible students. ICA also offers Affordable English classes open to everyone.
Tools for Equity
ICA’s Tools for Equity training program for businesses and organizations, addresses racial disparities and employment barriers faced by immigrants, refugees, and communities of colour in the Capital Regional District.
