Let Your Voice Be Heard
Racism has always been present in our community.
We are hearing more reports about anti-Blackness, anti-Asian and anti-immigrant sentiment, racism towards Indigenous people, Islamophobia, homophobia and anti-semitism. This is dangerous and creates division and distress throughout the community.
The Greater Victoria Local Immigration Partnership (GVLIP) and the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) want to hear from you. If you have experienced racism, racial profiling or hate OR have witnessed acts of racism and hate, please take this survey. As a community, we can stand up against racism and work towards justice and equity.
Participation in this survey will help us develop strategies to better support marginalized people and work to end racism.
Let your voice be heard: Tell us what you see, hear, and experience.
Tell us what you need in order to feel supported and included in this community!
The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete and is intended for anyone 14 years or older living in the Capital Region.
The survey is open until Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
Responses will be completely confidential and anonymous. If you want to be entered to win a $150 cash prize, just fill in the required information at the end of the survey.
