The Career Paths program at ICA can help with:
- Job search strategies, cover letter/resume writing
- Funded skills training and upgrading
- Creating connections with local employers
- Mentorship and professional networking – accessing the hidden job market
- Finding information for additional certifications
- Understanding the credential evaluation and recognition process
- Gaining insights into regulatory / licensure requirements and processes
- Learning more about potential internship opportunities in the community relevant to your career field
Program Eligibility:
- Applicants are required to have been Permanent Residents for no more than 10 years prior to acceptance into the CPSI program.
- All Stream 1 applicants must demonstrate at least 1 year of pre-arrival experience.
- All Stream 2 applicants must demonstrate at least 1 year of pre-arrival experience.
- Stream 3 applicants must demonstrate 2 years of pre-arrival experience. Note: youth (19-30 years) applicants must demonstrate 1-year of pre-arrival experience.
- All applicants are required to have intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency

Learn English (LINC)
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) provides English language training from beginner to advanced levels for adult newcomers to Canada. LINC is funded by the Government of Canada and is FREE for eligible students.
