This engaging after-school course helps newcomer youth improve their English speaking and writing skills so they can participate actively in class, improve their writing, and succeed in school assignments more easily, and feel ready to succeed in Canadian schools—all in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re new to Canada or still adjusting to English in school, this class will help you feel prepared and ready.
Learn how to:
✅ Participate actively in classroom discussions.
✅ Use appropriate language for group work, presentations, and informal conversations.
✅ Write well-organized paragraphs using topic sentences and supporting details.
✅ Use correct punctuation, capitalization, and sentence structure in writing tasks.
✅ Small classes with friendly, experienced instructors.
