Family Law Program
ICA’s Family Law Advocate provides free advocacy, support, legal information, assistance, and referrals for people dealing with family law matters. The advocate can help clients understand their options, prepare forms, navigate family court processes, and connect with other community supports.
We can help with:
- Parenting arrangements, parenting time, guardianship, and parentage.
- Permission to travel/relocation
- Child support and spousal support
- Separation agreements
- Protection orders/Conduct Orders
- Family violence safety planning
- Desk Order Divorce
- Referrals to Legal Aid and community services
Referrals are open to all community members, regardless of immigration status.
